New supply

by john1000 » Tue May 22, 2007 5:32 pm

Hi

Hope someone has some advice. I have a small piece of land with my neighbours property in between.

I want to supply electric to this land but not sure how, if my neighbour for what ever reason was not happy about me going accross his garden ( buried outdoor cable )

Its not legal I presume to dig up a public road, and the only other way I can see is have a seperate supply but does anyone know how I can acheive this?

Thanks
John :?:

Hi John,
Expensive, long winded, painful experience in store.....
To get supply you need to have 'installation' fully tested & certified, pay local supply authority to run cable to building or box to there spec.
then you need to arrange supply deal with metering company.....
was so much easier b4 privitisation.......
What load do you want to supply? is generator an option or if only for lights; battery and solar panel to top up?
best of luck SPARX
