I want to plaster board a wall using dot and dab compound the wall is bare brick, I have seen dot and dab drylinning go funny in the area where the compound is which appears like a wet patch due to the salt coming through the wall into the board. Is it best to apply the dywall compound directly to the brick or would it be better to apply a coat of bonding compound first then apply drywall to that once its dry? Or wont it make any difference to it all? would like to know the correct method
if anyone could help would really appreciate it cheers
