Removing artex painted with gloss

by Paintdevil » Wed May 23, 2007 12:54 pm

I've read many articles on how to remove or plaster over artex, but none that really cover what you should do if the artex has been painted over with gloss (eggshell) paint. Are there any products that will adhere to the paint or removing the artex the only solution? Does the X-Tex textured coatings remover recommended on this site work if the artex has been painted with gloss?

Go to the artex removal project and click through into Eco Solutions website to ask them. They will not keep you waiting for a reply. Its not a subject which comes up a lot because painting artex with gloss is a very very rare event.
