Covering floor tiles

by hystfield » Thu Jan 08, 2009 5:31 pm

My kitchen floor is tiled with large ceramic tiles. Wife hates them and I want to cover them with vinyl cushion flooring.
Any advice on how to level the floor ie hide the joints of the tiles?
Thanks

hystfield,
Cushion floor needs a hard smooth surface underneath it so you will have to cover the existing tiles with self-levelling floor compound.

Self Leveling Floor Compound

Hystfiled,

If you Google "pureadhesion.co.uk" and search for self levelling compound - it will sort your grout gaps out
