Speedfit for immersion heater

by spider147 » Mon Jan 26, 2009 6:27 pm

Hi all, due to changing my house layout, I need to move my immersion heater, hot water pipes from boiler and header tank in the loft. Are speed-fit pipes and connections suitable for all these jobs?

Many thanks

spider147,
Many plumbers use plastic pipe and fittings even for heating applications. I still do not believe that a single rubber O ring (which all these type of fittings depend upon) has the same life as a soldered or compression fitting.
