how can i ge round the problem of having to fit a cavity tray, when the whole house has cavity wall insulation! surley its just gonna fall down and fill the tray anyway? am i right in thinking 99% of wall insulation stops this any way, more so if its simular to "instafibre".
would treating the wall with a clear waterproofer help?

use catnic boot lintols over all openings the design eliminates the use of dpc cavity trays and are fully insulated

cant replace the lentol as its in the original opening of the building and the wall insulation has been in about ten years. (and cost me a loy of money, so dont want to lose or disturb it).

there is no way to install cavity trays unless you demolish the external brickwork above each opening
the insulation has some waterproof resistance but you could spray a clear silicone solution to the walls,it all helps
