Sealing tiled splashback

by yorksvilla » Sun Jan 11, 2009 12:26 pm

Anyone recommend a good way of sealing new tiles and grout on splashback above a range cooker so it becomes easily cleanable and repels grease?

I sealed our tiles with a crackle-glaze. It now repels water etc and is easily cleaned. You may not need a crackle glaze (depends on your tiles), but i'm sure there will be other types of glaze to use.
