Oil Fired Boiler

by stuart_craigon2003 » Tue Jan 20, 2009 7:17 pm

I have just bought a new house and the builders have put in a "Wallstar" oil fired boiler. Are they any good? I generally dislike oil for heating because it means that you then need to have both oil and gas. I cook with gas because its instant heat, it’s more controllable then electric and I have a balanced flue gas fire that I'm going to take with me to my new house.

It’s all such a royal pain the in backside to be honest. I just want to take it out and sell the boiler and the oil tank and put in lpg gas.

Anyone had experience of Andrews Water Heaters?

Some help would be good please.

Thanks a million.

Stuart
