New Apprenticeship

by 21benz » Sat Dec 13, 2008 2:14 pm

Hi to all,
This are my first questions on here so you'll have to bare with me.

I have just started an apprenticeship with British Gas and am looking to get a couple of the books we have been using like Corgi Essential Gas & Safety, Safety in the installation and use of gas systems and appliances, and any other books that may be of use. They supply alot of the literature but there are a couple that we can get ourselves to use at home.

Also cheeky question, does anyone know the names of the three different types of gas injectors and the reason for there differing characteristics.

Many Thanks Ben

hi Ben loads of books available Google "cskills.org" and go on the gas section
I have used several of these they are BES publications and are used at many colledges
best of luck with your training its worth it in the end, it takes a lot of doing but the rewards can be great , just remember one thing " if in doubt ask!! " no one will condem you for asking to be shure you know
