Vent for living room.

by panx » Wed Jan 07, 2009 2:21 pm

Hi

I have a living room which is about 11ft x 6ft and also a plasma fireplace with a flue. In the corner of the room, I have a vent (to outside) which is quite big... 6in but 6in (standard tumble dryer vent).

Currently it is acting as a air conditioner and my living room is too cold.

Do i need this vent? as my fireplase already has a flue be hind.

Please help.

Thanks
Panx

Hi,

Check with the instructions/manfafacturer of the fire first before you DO anything.

IMO that type of fire -I would NEVER install.
