We have a conservatory recently fitted, but without a fixed heating system. An unwise decision. We are currently experiencing severe condensation problems such as water pooling, salting and mold etc. We are now in the process of installing central heating radiators. I understand the reasons for condensation to occur, but will fitting air bricks into the suporting 600mm cavity wall help to reduce the effects of condensation?

If you have low-level walls these will be drying out and this may take some time. Ventilation and warmth will be the longer term solution but you could hire a de-humidifier to cure the problem short term.

How recent is recently? Call the supplier / installer back and tell them you are not satisfied.


"We are now in the process of installing central heating radiators."

Bear in mind that such will make your conservatory an extension for planning purposes rather than a conservatory.
