I was watching a TV building programme the other night, "Holmes on Homes"
In the programme they used a self levelling screed on a floor. Now, I've used a so called self levelling screed on one of my floors. Except that it was not self levelling and required trowelling.
The screed that was used in the programme was almost liquid and was simply poured on the floor and left to find it's own level.
Does any of you knowledgeable people out there know if it is possible to get such a product over here.

Oh sorry. I put a Canadian programme together with "over here" and jumped to a conclusion. LoL.

All SLCs need to be very runny to work but all need a litle smoothing to help them do their job. Fill the low points first.

If you have to trowel a lot it suggests you have insufficient water / SLC ratio if using the all in one mix.

Any tile shop will be able to supply what you are looking for.

I've used Ardex products for years and would say they are the best. I've used K15 extensively and it always gives a billiard table smooth finish.
