starting from the top

hi there
when plastering why is it always best to start from the top and work down is it really that wrong to start at the bottom and work up???

I've always started from the bottom, less roll off that way.

So you are on a landing 5 meters high, and you telling me you start from the bottom. Wrong mate top then work down, it also means that you constantly keep going back into your work. if you do start at the bottom.
