I need to install a gate between the house and the garage to keep the dog in. it would need be be nearly 4 feet wide and atleast 6 fett high.
can anyone recommend a resonbly priced supplier of such item?

Suggest you use a wooden gate - it will be cheaper, lighter and easier to install.

Wood is no good i have a staffy and she like to chew wood!
If a wooden gate was used to keep her in she would chew it till she could get out!!
There has to be a supplier of metal gates who do wider than average gates

In which case buy a wood gate and clad the dog-exposed side with a sheet of aluminium, or go round your local metal working firms and see if they have any rejected or oops made-wrong-size gates.
