I live in a mid terrace and have tried to soundproof one of the adjoining walls in the main bedroom, i used a 3by2 studded frame (not touching the original wall) i the insulated with 100mm loft insulation and finaly two layers of 15mm soundblock plaster board ,it has'nt made that much difference ,we still here the dog barkink and people coughing ,have i done something wrong....
