Hi - We have one tap in our cloakroom sink that knocks ferciously when it is turned on. No problems on the cold or when it is turned off. Pipes have been lagged and knocking feels like it is in the tap itself and is travelling down the pipes rather than the other way round. ? any clues?

Hi,

Replace the tap gear ( innards) - its jumping.

That is, turn mains off & replace tap head gear.
