hot water cylinder notifiable work?

hi guys
quick question for roseberry,you mentioned a wee while ago that installing a hot water cylinder was a notifiable work,can you tell me were you found that to be as i have spoken to the wiaps people and they are not aware of it and as we some time install them for the company i work for i want to make sure we are not breaking any rules
