Hi guys and thank you for reading
Can anyone tell me What defines a shed?
My new project
In the corner of my garden I have a 15' dia X 3'8" deep splash pool. The Garden slopes upwards away from the house so the pool is buried at the farest point away from the house and free standinding at it's nearest. Because 1. my grandson is 3 this year and I need to stop him getting by the pool and 2. the last 2 years have been a wash out with the weather, I intend to put what amounts to a shed around the pool.
The corner is, on one side an 8' boundry Wall (oneway car track and pudlic right of way the other side) and the other contains two doors to an outside toilet and outbuilding (tiolet and outbuilding conected to the house but not accessable from inside the house, No windows, single story)
I want to utilise these corner walls and errect two wooden sides and a roof (following loo and out building) to ineffect form a shed. The wooden sides would not be connected to the floor but would be connected to the walls and roof (but detactchable). The roof will framed and be perspex and the wooden walls will be frames with only the bottom half filled by wood, leaving the top half open which then would have clear blinds.
Hope you understood all that
Now back to my question!
What defines a shed?
Or what would you call this structure?
and any ideas with regards to planning permission?
Thanks
Kel
