round external angle beads?

by davediyer » Sat Mar 14, 2009 12:48 pm

Hi - Having dry-lined a couple of rooms, I need to make good with plaster round some window recesses. These are external corners, but I would like to finish them as rounded corners, rather than as hard angles.
Can I get metal or plastic grid angle beads for rounded corners, and if so where from?. I could use quarter round wooden beadings as formers, but would be worried about the plaster knocking off them.
Cheers. Dave T, Inverness

davediyer,
Never seen anything like you are describing but you could buy some expandmesh, cut it into strips, bend it round a pipe of pipe to give the desired radius and plaster this in place.
end
