Kitchen Light

Hi,

My partner has purchased aa new kitchen Light, that dosent have your standard ceiling rose. I have three wires and just three connections Live, earth, nuetral. I have wired it up but the switch for the kitchen light turns on the Diningroom, stairs and landing.... Please help it's driving me mad!!!!

Kevin;
cables from ceiling
Terminate all live reds or browns together with nothing else in a connection block,
all earths to earth terminal.
The blacks or blues one should have a flag or sleave on it, connect that to the live side of fitting brown flex cable of lamp.
and the other to the blue side flex of lamp.
