fitting a gas hob

hi

i am fitting a gas hob with an electric oven directly below it. in the MI it states i need to fit a seperator panel 15mm from the base of the hob. does anybody have any idea what material this panel should be made of.

Hi,

I would think any thinnish non-combustable material eg the asbestolux stuff - cementitious fibre board.

Hi Paul,

Any good builders merchants- they use it on roof construction on a gable end near the eaves to help support the overhanging slates/tiles
