Hi,
I have dense overgrown bushes/shrubs at the side of my house.
I dont know what type they are but they have very small dense leaves and red berries.
I have tried using an electric hedge trimmer but it is hopeless!!
It cuts the loose twigs but when I attempt any density it just jams.
Would a petrol Chain Saw be better? Or a better petrol hedge trimmer??
I want to cut this right back as it has been neglected and run riot !!

I'm hoping someone will answer your question, because I have a large back garden which is also out of control!

hi; sounds like a contoniaster shrub;why not look out for a jobbing gardener in your local news agents they can charge between 8 and 10 pounds per hour and take away any rubbish.

A hedgetrimer is uselss for pruning.
