No joint = trouble. If any spillage occurs the liquid can get dowm under the tiles and cause mould problems. If its a coloured liquid it can ver often stain the edges of tiles as they are usually not so well glazed as the surface and finally, it is a very very very rare situation where all of the tiles are 100% the same size and even 100% square so laying them with no joint can give you finished joint lines which wiggle about and look awful. A grouted 5mm (we recommend no less) joint allows you a little movement in each tile to make the joints look as good as the tiles them selves. Its your call obviously but no builder or floor layer would ever lay floor tiles with no joint.
