Garage renovation

My existing garage needs repairing. At the same, i was thinking of extending the garage width and maybe even height. do i need planning permission?
Any help will be gratefully recieved![/b]

There is a very good chance you will need PP. Ask at your LA PO and take some dimensioned sketches of your proposal.
