P bath panel problems

by funny » Wed May 30, 2007 10:13 pm

I have had one of these P baths installed, but we are having problems with the bath panel. The bath is level, unfortunately it sits on 2 metal brackets that had to be raised to allow the waste and water pipes to run underneath it. This has now caused a problem with the bath panel. The bath panel is a precut size and now we are left with a 3 cm gap between the bottom of it and the floor. Any suggestions?

You can fix a skirting board to it to cover the gap using a plastic moulding which you can buy from any Double Glazing salesroom. The mouldings come up to 100mm high and bend very easily. It can be stuck with PVCu supa glue which will also be stocked by the plastics firm.
