I am sure biscuits may seem like a better decision, but in all the years I have been involved in taking out old kitchens and all the fitters I have known and employed, (and including myself), putting in new ones, which must run into hundreds of installations, I can count on one hand with fingers to spare the number where biscuits have been used.
As Stoneyboy says, they don't help any with lining up as you have to make the fine adjustments, and if fixed properly, when the joint is set, it is SET.
