laminate over ceramic?? Help, advice, information, answers and tips on all types of flooring from laminate and carpet to timber and vinyl

hi, i have ceramic tiles on my kitchen floor and i would like to put laminate flooring on top. is this ok? what about the extra height especially
at the door where it meets the carpet? is there a special trim for this?
