Cold water from shower? Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

Hi, i have a electric shower creda 8500dl and on sat morning i noticed that the pull cord was at off, the shower was running cold, i pulled the cord to on, the light is on but the shower when switched on still runs cold and the light on the shower does not illuminate???

Sounds like the control board has gone in it which means time to get a new one!

How old is the unit? Is it still under warrenty?
