electric shower - cannot alter temperature

by deano27 » Sun May 17, 2009 11:46 am

i have a jade electric shower that has been in place for a number of years (prior to owning the house). however i can no longer regulate the temperature. the temperature dial can be moved round but has no effect. during winter it was a little cooler than necessary and now its scalding.

is there any solution other than to replace the unit?

Probably the heater can is blocked and or knackered.

You can get a new one via: Google "showerdoc.co.uk/shower-spares/triton/jade.html"

£ 50 - £ 60 plus delivery.

Cheers
