Hot radiators when only heating the water system

by Sulograss » Mon May 18, 2009 2:35 pm

I have a gas boiler with seperate controls for heating the radiators and the water in the immersion heater upstairs.

With just the hot water heating on the radiators are getting hot and the hot water luke warm only.

My guess is it's a valve stuck somewhere but where might it be and what would it look like or am I totally wrong?

May be that you have a 3 way/port/, diverter valve not functioning. It is likely to be the actuator head which is faulty, and replaceable.

That sounds like a technique to me.
Do you think you could be in the wrong industry?
Glad it worked

Roseberry,
I must remember that one,
"Percussive maintenance", and will try to use more of it, as it obviously works.
Cheers
