loft conversion and boundaries

by apenfold » Wed May 23, 2007 8:33 pm

:?: My neighbours are doing a loft conversion with ensuite and patio doors. The extension seems to go over our roof. Aren't there regulations that say you cannot encroach on other peoples properties

Yes there are. Talk to your local council

The neighbour must submit a Party wall award which deals with boundary issues. Write to them and ask them to comply with the Act, when they do you could dissent and have your own party wallsurveyor deal with the boundary issues.
