Fixing worktops to wall and concrete floors Help, advice, information, answers and tips on all types of flooring from laminate and carpet to timber and vinyl

I am taking on a project for my work which is to fix a 6 meter worktop to wall and concrete floor in our new warehouse,

please could some explain how to go about this and what equipment/fixings I would need.

Some has suggested at work that I use expansion plugs in the floor, is this
right.

Don't understand what you mean. fixing a worktop to a wall and a floor?

I can only describe as a breakfast bar so would need to be fixed to wall and then via legs

Ahh ! First you fit a batten to the wall, at the correct heght for the underside of the worktop and slightly shorter than the top so you cannnot see the ends of the batten fromeither side. The batten should be about 50mm x 25mm with the 50mm face against the wall. The worktop sits on this batten and can be fixed to it, from underneath with brackets so no fixings are seen from the top. What about fixing the legs to the floor, would using expansion plugs be ok?
