Help me disguise these foul mirrors!

by houseproudjude » Wed Jun 03, 2009 11:09 pm

Hello!

I'm moving into a new rented flat in a few weeks, and it used to be a student house. It has horrible mirrors bolted in each room which are unframed and starting to lose their silvering around the edges, but the landlord won't let us take them down.

Does anyone know of a way to add a decorative frame to disguse this, without unbolting the mirrors? Or is their a company which sells products for this?

Thanks in advance!

Jude

You should be able to find a form of beading which will fit over the edges of the mirrors to disguise the lack of frame, at one of the DIY sheds.
