Removal of Beeswax from Glass

by juliemartin1960 » Fri Apr 04, 2008 6:46 pm

I have just had some wooden doors waxed and some has got onto the glass panels. What is the best way to remove the wax from glass.

If you find after cleaning with white spirit that you still have a residue, try using a few drops of lighter fluid on a piece of kitchen paper towel. Keep away from naked lights (including gas pilot lights) and active ignition sources (like hairdryers and thermostats) when using lighter fluid as a solvent. The area must be well ventilated, ideally via a window or door.
