Replacing Mira 722 recessed shower mixer and fittings Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

Has anyone found a new shower mixer valve which will replace a recessed Mira 722 without having to smash several good wall tiles?
Mira don't do a direct repacement and I have searched the web without success.
I have two old gold mixers which I now want replace with chrome recessed mixer valves and fittings with minimum damage.
Any ideas of doing it without major plumbing and losing tiles would be greatly appreciated.
