bathroom recessed sinks Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

I have purchased a compact semi recessed sink for my newly fitted bathroom furniture. It is just the size I want, However I have only just realised that my furniture is 300mm deep and the sink is designed for the 200mm range.
I really do not want a bigger sink, so is there any way I can fitted this sink, as the distanace between the rear of the sink and the wall is now greater? ( nb. the sink is designed to fit to the wall.)
I really hope so, as otherwise I will have to buy not only another sink but a new worktop and front cupboard fascia!!!

Sorry but you won't get the BASIN to fit the furniture and also fit snug back to the wall. I think you need to bite the bullet and fit the larger basin as the simplest short term solution.

I got caught up in this problem with Ideal Standard Space basin some time ago. WE had 300mm units and the customer wanted a small basin going back to the wall.

We and the customer hunted everywhere for a smaller basin. We couldn't find one. They all seem to be about the same size. There isn't a basin that will sit in a 300mm unit and touch the wall - well not that we could find anyway.

What sets the projection is not so much the basin but the unit it is sitting on.
