DIY loft conversion advice: changing the trusses without making roof collapse

Hi Guys

i am thinking about converting my loft, i stay in a traditional built house in scotland which was built in 2004, what i want to know is how do i go about changing the trusses in the loft without the whole roof collapsing on top of me

Get a surveyor/structural engineer/ architect.
2004 roof trusses will have been designed to fit a specific case, and are difficult to alter
