Refurbishing Painted in Shutters

by frede » Wed Jun 06, 2007 5:49 pm

I have some lovely old shutters that have been painted in to the wall. Is there a good way of getting them back to their normal self?

I've done this B4 as used to be in the trade, you just have to remove the paint where it has been sealed with a craft knife and chisels until you can achieve movement and can access the hinges and remove and then strip the paint from the edges of the shutters if your not going to strip it all, you'll need patiance!
