SEMPATAP - any feedback on effectivness on a dormer ceiling

by specktor » Mon Jun 15, 2009 3:57 pm

Hi
We are thinking about putting the sempatap insulating "wall paper" on our attic room sloping ceiling.
This gives us minimal loss of headroom, and sounds like it is very effective in keeping winter heat in, and summer heat out - both big problems.
I appreciate it is expensive - but it all sounds almost too good to be true.

Does it work?, are there any alternatives? (other than ripping the Victorian ceiling down and redoing the whole lot.)

Any thoughts appreciated

Hi

You wont to know about sempatap is it any good I would say yes but you must use there paste and there joint sealer.

it can be over painted or wallpapered on plus it stops any black mould due to poor air movemnet last time I used it it cost about £25.00 per roll
