Does anyone know if I would need permission to put a second gateway into my devon bank? I want to form an in & out gate. My neighbors think I should just go ahead with it as it doesn't interfere with anyone else, but i don't want a tap on the shoulder from the planners telling me to put it back as it involves a lot of heavy work. A Devon bank if anyones not sure of it is a 5/6feet high mound of rubble and soil with grass all over it that forms a type of fence between my garden and the roadside.
