FLOOR JOISTS

The take off of the floor joists was

150 x 50mm 4.75ml 117no
150 x 50mm 1.40ml 16no
150 x 75mm 4.75ml 6no
150 x 75mm 1.70ml 2no
150 x 25mm ppd 1.70ml 2no
150 x 50mm random lengths 45ml

Can anyone help me with the grade of the timber and would a soft wood be ebtter for the job?

you need to check with your supplier and ask for strees graded timber
