red bricks..removing creeping vine stains. I've just taken down some Ivy and its left lots of marks on the red bricks. I've been told to b careful of using a jet wash as it may harm the bricks pointing! does anyone know what i could use to get this clean? thx

QUEALLS,
Whatever you use it is either going to damage the brick face or the mortar. Try thoroughly wetting a small area and use a pressure washer - you may have to wet the wall a number of times before the Ivy residue softens. If the bricks are clay (not sandfaced) you could try wire-brushing.
