problem with hot water

:cry: previously we had no problem with hot water in kitchen,this week the water was turned off to change the bath and sink in upstairs bathroom,and when it was all turned back on there is hot through the upstairs taps in new bath but no hot water in the downstairs kitchen tap!!whats wrong and how do we fix this?please its driving me mad thanks!

It's an airlock most probably. If the sink has mixer taps, put your thumb over the outlet and turn the hot on fully. Now slowly open the cold for as much pressure as you can hold. Count to five and turn off the cold. Let go and water should be aplenty from the hot.

If the taps are individual you need a short length of hose to link the two.

No hot water ?

cold water coming out of hot tap ?

Or no water at all ?
