UFH and Towel Rail will the thermostats for each conflict? All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

Hi all,
The problem is : -

1. If the towel rail is always on then the room will be warm enough and there will be no demand for the UFH.

2. If the towel rail is on a thermostat then either the floor or the towel rail will go off.

Does anyone know of any way to have a towel rail always warm but not affecting the UFH ?

:idea: Can I run the UFH up through a towel rail and will this help to solve the problem? (I know it won't be always on but should be always warm?)

Any advice gratefully received.

Leaving the TRV on the towel rail fully open, or removing the top altogether will ensure the rail is always warm.

The underfloor heating thermostats are manufactured with an inbuilt air sensor and floor sensor as standard and operate in either floor-only mode for comfort heating or air-and-floor mode for full primary heating so the problem you describe should not occur.

A friend of mine was complaining that their set-up didn't work like that and I didn't want to make the same mistake.

I will pass this on in case my friend can sort this retrospectively.
