Fitting a gas hob above a dishwasher ?

by DH » Thu Nov 05, 2009 11:31 pm

Hi all,

I'm thinking about changing the layout of my current kitchen and what i'd like to do is to move the gas hob to above an integrated diswasher. I understand that this would need to be done by a gas registered person and looking at my plan there is adequate space at the back for pipework, my question is however are there any regulations as to where you can and can't fit beneath a gas hob, if not is it wise? any advice on this greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Shouldn't be a problem, apart from the fact you wont get the gas pipe connected with an integrated appliance - if it was a freestanding dishwasher - no problem.
