TV reception

by rob holdcroft » Fri Nov 20, 2009 6:28 pm

We live in a three storey house - a proper Freeview digital aerial is fitted on the roof - reception in the lounge on the second floor is excellent. We have now bought a TV for the kitchen on the ground floor - all BBC reception is very good but many channels are either 'no signal' or 'bad signal'. I tried disconnecting the splitter in the loft and bought a booster but no improvement - what else could I try?

your signal loss may be due to the signal being split. A decent distribution amp will solve this problem. this will then amplify the signal out to up to 8 zones with minimal signal loss
