can anyone help please: we are renovating a barn and have reroofed it and are now looking to insulate. we were going to use thin reflactive foil bubble wrap as in actis tri iso super 9 but have read recent reports about how the R number of over 5 isnt provable. we have found a much cheaper alternative who claim their product equals actis but is half the price due to the fact they dont mke false claims about the R value.
so we are thinking maybe use the foil and the rockwool to be sure but was wondering if anyone knows anything about these conflicting claims and can advise us further? thanks
