Laying chippimgs directly onto concrete

by Greggo » Wed Feb 28, 2007 3:24 pm

Hi, Does anyone know if I can lay 14/20 mill Cotswold stone chippings directly onto a concrete flagstone enclosed patio ? Or would I run into trouble with the chippings breaking up/moving around requiring eternal raking? I really don't want to take up all the flagstones (520 sq ft)

A minimum of 50mm is required to stop the chippings moving too much Greggo. They will still spread a little, but will be managable at that depth.
