central heating

downstair radiators come on when they feel like it except lounge but not for long
fitted two new rads downstair when decorating with trvs to all rads
sealed system running at 2.5 bar pump sometimes noisey
and trys to select another gear when running

Air is a primary suspect in both rads and pump resulting from your decorating work.

Did you upset the heating balance?

Can your boiler cope with the extra demand you have placed on it?

When you say "sealed" do you mean sealed as in combi boiler or sealed in that you have a system boiler with an unvented cylinder?

hi rosebery
thanks for taking time to look at my problem

boiler is potterton suprima 80 havent added extra rads just changed 2 of them
havent touched ballancing other than fitting new trvs and lockshields
to new rads
its not a combi system
but has an expansion vessel fitted

i have four bedroomed house with 11 radiators
boiler is in my loft 8-10 years old
and has never been brilliant with radiator service
