SEDBUK rating of older boilers, for comparison

by st3ve » Tue Dec 15, 2009 8:46 pm

Where can I look up the efficiency rating of my boiler (SEDBUK)? I have found a list of new boilers, but can't find any data on mine for comparison.

It is an Ideal Classic NF50 ~1994.

Thanks for looking.

You won't find it in Sedbuk as this table was only started in the mid ninties

but an installer/servicer can rate your boiler through the flue gas test

we have people applying for interest free loans from EST Scotland to

replace boiler's and their old ones have to be 'G' rated (they have to

prove this) and this is done by an installer/servicer.

Google the following site:

Google "ofgem.gov.uk/Sustainability/Environment/EnergyEff/InfProjMngrs/Documents1/SEDBUK%20G%20Rated%20Boilers%20List.xls"

Your boiler is listed at 68%.
